May 12, 2009 at Lindsay Lohan’s house, a burglar alarm went off. The police were able to respond to the whole situation immediately. Guess that is the power of being a celebrity. They were able to find evidence that there is a great chance that the house has been broken into and ransacked. The alarm company made a call to the police station and alerted them that someone had stumbled into the alarm system, which happened around three in the afternoon.
When the police arrived, one of the Los Angeles police officers named Karen Rayner asked whether the house has always been in an unkempt state or if the intruder did it. The investigation went further and they were able to conclude that no one had entered Lindsay Lohan’s home. Police reported also that nothing was missing. It was a total laugh for many who thought that Lindsay was indeed a messy girl. She cannot even clean her own home or at least hire a cleaning service.
Lindsay Lohan is not present during the incident happened. She is with her little sister, Ali Lohan in Europe. Ali is reportedly working in a recording studio and later on, the two head to the southern part of France so that they will be able to attend the Cannes Film Festival. Lindsay was informed through her publicist, Leslie Sloane-Zelnik but the message was not returned.
The next day, the report from the cops were said to be wrong because there was a surveillance video. It featured a guy making his way into the house through the back door. When the alarm rang, the guy instantaneously got out of the house. Sources also revealed that there is a great chance that there is an accomplice involved in the crime. This is because when the dude ran off, he was able to get into a car so it is possible that he has a getaway driver. Cops are now investigating the new issue surrounding the break in.
Pry marks were actually found on the backdoor and the window at the back of the house were also tampered. Photos taken from the surveillance camera have been released for the public to see. It showed a guy wearing a cap and a face mask in one picture. There were also some shots that showed a car that may contain the driver of the guy. The screen grabs are evidences that prove that the break in at Lindsay Lohan’s house was real. The suspects, which were believed to be two in number, drove a Dodge Magnum that has custom wheels and even paper plates.
It looked like the driver stayed in the car and had to wait for his partner’s signal while the other went inside the house to attempt the burglary. The guy used a tool so that he could gain entry to the house and in the video it showed that he pried the door and window open. It is said that he was not able to enter the house since the alarm scared him off.
