The US Magazine reported that Carey Hart, the 33-year-old motocross rider, is on the fast track of reconciliation with Pink (Alecia Moore in real-life), his 29-year-old ex-wife singer, and that he has even moved into her home in Malibu.
The ‘Sober’ singer previously announced that she was separating from her husband in February 2008 after almost two years of marriage. However, Pink is never seemed to entirely get over her relationship with Hart. The rumor sparked that they were back together after they were spotted jogging together in Los Angeles on May 13, 2009, Wednesday. The two gazed on each other, walking arm-in-arm after their workout.
Earlier this May, the singer has admitted to the Seventeen magazine that she had “weak moments” and “strong moments” since their separation. Pink said that, “It’s up and down. You have strong moments and you have weak moments. But it’s not just been devastating – it’s been freedom, too.” She has also revealed that, “I told him I would give him away at his next wedding.”
That interview occurred presumably prior to New Year’s Eve party, when they were seen kissing at Wasted Space, the nightclub owned by Hart in Las Vegas. There are also rumors that the two spend the whole weekend together. (Just several days before that, Pink has been reported hooking up Wilmer Valderrama, the former That ‘70s Show actor, in Sin City. It is therefore concluded that maybe her experience with Valderrama has sent her screaming and running back into the arms of Hart.)
At the bash, Hart made a public toast for Pink, with a source that is also present in the party revealing: “He escorted her to the stage and toasted her at midnight. Then he wished everyone a happy new year. It was very informal.”
According to a reliable source, “The relationship never really ended”. They just took a break on the marriage because they couldn’t make it work never seeing each other.” The insider further said that, “Pink is head over heels for Carey and wants to try it again, but she is proceeding cautiously. She never gave up hope that it would work.”
With rumors spreading that the two have rekindled their romance, Pink still sing songs regarding their breakup. When she was on The Ellen De Generes Show, Pink told about reconciliation with the motocross racer. In the episode that aired last May 15, 2009, Friday, Pink told Ellen that, “We are!”
Recently on her international tour, Pink added that “it’s funny now” to perform songs – like her single, “So What” – regarding her ex-husband that they are back together again.
“Because he’s in the audience, so when I sing ‘He’s a tool,” now that’s my favorite line,” Pink said. “[I'm like,] ‘Hi honey, that’s you.”
Pink also said in the show that though numerous media outlets reported that they divorced, they have never filled the paperwork and would not have to remarry again. When the singer was asked if she wants another ceremony, she joked, “I love a party.”
Since their separation in 2008, the two have remained on friendly terms.
